Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Effective Date: 18 September 2026

This Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) describes the service availability commitment provided by TamilHost for eligible hosting services.

1. Service Availability

TamilHost aims to maintain high availability and reliable performance for eligible services.

Uptime Commitment

Web Hosting & Reseller Hosting: 99.9% Monthly Uptime

The uptime commitment is calculated on a monthly basis.

2. Eligible Services

This SLA applies to:

- Web Hosting

- Reseller Hosting

VPS and Dedicated Server services may be subject to separate service-level terms depending on the selected plan.

3. Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance may temporarily affect service availability.

Where reasonably possible, TamilHost will provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

Scheduled maintenance announced by TamilHost will generally be excluded from uptime calculations.

4. Exclusions

Downtime will not normally be counted against the SLA when caused by circumstances outside TamilHost's reasonable control, including:

- Customer-side configuration or software issues

- Incorrect DNS configuration

- Website/application coding errors

- Resource abuse or excessive usage

- Account suspension due to Terms of Service violations

- DDoS or other external attacks

- Internet or ISP-related problems outside TamilHost's network

- Scheduled maintenance

- Third-party software, services, or integrations

- Force majeure events

- Customer-caused server or account issues

5. SLA Service Credits

If TamilHost fails to meet the applicable monthly uptime commitment due to an issue within TamilHost's responsibility, an eligible customer may request a service credit.

Service credits are determined based on the measured monthly uptime and may be applied toward a future invoice.

Service credits are not automatically issued and must be requested by the customer.

6. SLA Claim

To submit an SLA claim, the customer must contact TamilHost Support with:

- Customer name

- Registered email address

- Service/domain details

- Invoice or account information

- Date and approximate time of the downtime

- Any relevant evidence or monitoring information

TamilHost may review its internal monitoring and server logs before determining SLA eligibility.

7. Claim Period

SLA claims should be submitted within 7 days after the end of the month in which the downtime occurred.

Claims submitted after this period may not be considered.

8. No Cash Refund

SLA compensation, where applicable, will normally be provided as a service credit and will not be paid as cash or transferred to a bank account.

Service credits cannot normally be exchanged for cash.

9. Monitoring

TamilHost may use its own server monitoring systems, network monitoring, and technical logs to determine service availability.

Third-party monitoring results may be considered as supporting evidence but may not be the sole basis for determining an SLA claim.

10. Changes to the SLA

TamilHost reserves the right to update this SLA when necessary.

Any updated version will be published on the TamilHost website with the revised effective date.
